Worship Service and 90 Minute Session after Potluck

Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

The term reproof in this verse means “evidence” with reprove meaning relooking at the evidence. This Sabbath Conference will look at the Bible Sabbath. We will look to “reprove” the Sabbath doctrine by using the methods William Miller used in the 1830’s that would eventually lead to the birth of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

William Miller started his study on Bible topics in Genesis and followed how the topic progressed in Scripture. This method helps us to avoid biases. We will look at Exegesis and Systematic Study’s strengths and weaknesses. Join us to learn “How to Study the Bible to Hear God Speak”. All ages are encouraged to attend.

Bring your Bible search programs and/or Concordances.
“E-Sword” and “MySword Bible” are two programs I use that are free.
